Linkimage borders work fine in DNN 4.4.1 using the "linkimage_image" class. I Installed 4.5 clean with linkimage and now borders are gone. When you check to see what css rules are applied, there is an inline style (not css) being rendered in addition to the linkimage_image class from asp.net (I think). The inline style is being applied after the linkimage_image class so you get no borders. The inline style being generated is below. Anyone have an idea how to override this inline style? Any direction would be appreciated.

BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px

Unless you use javascript, there is no way to overrule inlinestyles.

This would require a change of the links module

Well, I found a way to overide the asp.net control generated css borders for linkimage. In the linkimage.ascx file where you see Cssclass="linkimage_image" (it appears twice) directly after it place this style BorderWidth="1px" and you got borders again. I hope this is usefull to anyone since their upgrade to dnn 4.5.0. I spent hours just to find out where the inline style was even coming from. I also at the same time applied sp2 on my server 2003 box so im not sure if the culprit was dnn 4.5.0 or the sp2 upgrade. But it works again and im happy.
