Hello,

Brand new DotNetNuke 4.5 installation. WindowsXPPro SP2, .NET2.0, SQL2005Express. Clean install no errors. Added Forums, Gallery modules with no errors. I just installed the Blog Module...Tried to add my 1st entry and got this error. Deleted the page then created a brand new page, added the Blog Entry and got this same error.

Thank you in advance for the resolution.

Hi,

 

Unfortunately the blog module was not tested on 4.5.

I do know that a change in the web.config (xhtmlconformance) was changed and is causing issues with several modules.

I run some tests and let you know.

Any updates on this issue? I am experiencing the same issue, and have created three blogs so far, each has presented the same problem.

Was a problem in the web config, the module uses the "kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules" connection string and there was a typo. as always the simplist mistake caused the most annoying problems. thanks for your response though it is appreciated.
