I cannot figure out how to track and analysis utilization of my DNN website.

Where could I find this feature?  Clicks, Unique, country, browser, etc.

It's under Admin > Site Logs.

Google Analytics is a much better way though.

Thanks John.  I was aware of the Site log but it is just that, a very basic log.

I have just looked at the Google Analytics and they look really good.  Thanks for the tip.

Woops!  I just hit a stumbling block.

After setting up my account I am asked to add the following script to EACH page.  Since DNN is a DB driven content management system I have no idea where to put the code.

Any tips?

<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-0000000-1";
urchinTracker();
</script>

Put a text/html module towards the bottom of a page.Then go into Module Settings.

Set the module to display on all pages for "All Users", and under Advanced Settings you will find the Header field.  Paste your javascript in there, and turn off the checkbox for displaying the container.

This will track all pages that are normally viewable by users, but not track the edit and admin pages which is good in my opinion.

If you want to track even more, then you can paste that code in the bottom of any skins that you use on your site.
