Hi, is there any thought to changing the word filter because as it currently stands it would filter out words like 'snigger', 'pass' and 'scunthorpe' because they contain offensive words.

Do you find yourself using the words 'snigger' or 'scunthorpe' very often?

Although I still would like an answer to my previous post , I figured I should explain that I really never thought about this. Over two years ago, Tam created the filter feature and since then I have only tried to update it to correct bugs and threfore it has just kind of maintained how it originally functioned. The word filtering engine itself could probably use some enhancements and I will bring it up to the team about getting it roadmapped. Outside of bugs, i think you are really the first person to ever mention anything with regards to the word filter.

I have noticed the same typs of issues, but personally I am only using it to filter out script tags that I don't want (I'm on an old version of the forums) and it doesn't matter for me
