Hi, I'm wanting to set up a CV database for our professional services business. It looks like the repository has everything I need, except for 1 (or maybe 2 things).

First is being able to attach more than one file to a record. Usually people have more than one version of their CV, and I wanted to have a record per person and then multiple files attached to it. Is this possible? Perhaps with the upcoming sub-categories?

Other thing is to be able to search across both the record and the file content. Is this possible? Most files would be Word or PDF.

Hi Jeff

At this point it's one record per upload. Theoretically though, if only a set group of people are going to upload, you could create categories using their names and could even further define it with the sub-categories (from testing it I think the majority will be very pleased with it).

Search can only search the information entered into the Repository and not in the files uploaded. Possibly it's something that Steve and Barton can look at when they do the rewrite to get the module in line with DNN standards.
