Hello!

I'm working with the version 3.01.01 of the module News and I've a problem.

The rss feeds with the rdf (rss 1.0) format don't works. The feed is just interpreted like a long text!

Do you know this problem? Have you any solutions to resolve it?

Thanks

Aurélie

Hi, Aurélie

I have some advice that is working for me. I did a search within a folder on my computer where I have unpacked DNN install.

Search on the folder for *.xsl and you will get a few files that contain the formating that can be used in the News feed such as Blog-Full_Grey.xsl

What I did was copied all these files to my portal root where I save my images in the file manager. Afterwards, when you go to your News module and under Edit News Feed you will now see the list of files you copied up to your site if you select "File on your site" on the "News Feed Style Sheet" section you should now see the list of .xsl files you could choose from. Some work good for the News module and some don't but at least it gets you started.

I also find that the default DNN Skins work great because you could choose to minimize the container to save retail space. It depends on the colours and style of your site.

Check out mine and see how it works (excuse the mess I'm recovering from some disasters)
