I have been searching the forums and Snowcovered, didn't find anything but I cannot imagine there is no existing solution...

I would like to "generate" a link I can send to registered users that would log them in if they click on it.

(some sites use this technique, they put a random looking in the url)

This is for a (press) site where we want to identify the user, but make it as easy as possible for them to login.

Anybody any suggestions?

I am hunting for exactly the same thing as a part of a information campaign for specific members to access a specific page.
