Ok i am assured that there is an smtp server on the same box as the web server. However when i put into the host settings localhost as the smtp server it keeps giving me the same error: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object.

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?

It sounds like ti couldn't find the mail object data.

Which version of DNN are you using?

Does you error log have any more detail?
