I have a shared-Windows hosting account on GoDaddy, and I used their Metropolis site to install DNN 4.4.1

I can download the DNN 4.5.1 upgrade, but must GoDaddy install it?  IE, can I install it myself even though my hosting account is on a shared server to which I do not have access to the Windows console or remote session?

GD has a DNN 4.5.1 "install" posted on their Metropolis site, but I do not have an "upgrade" option....

Also, my DNN website showed an update being available to the Text/HTML module, so I installed that, but I did not notice that it required DNN 4.5.1, so now my site is toast.  GD Support was no help, they wanted $150 to restore my site from back-up, or suggested I unistall 4.4.1 and then install 4.5.1...but that would also have wiped-out my website and I'd have to create from scratch again, wouldn't it?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide....
