Hi everyone!

Yesterday, I was testing my website against sql injection, using the PortalSecurity.InputFilter to prevent from it. When I entered, in my form, the string  '; shutdown ; --  my sql server shut down! I discussed about that in a french  DNN forum, and we realized that the shutdown command was not handled with InputFilter. Maybe this function needs to be upgraded to consider this command.

Proper use of SQL Parameters should prevent the single quotes from getting to the db.  I don't think it is too practical for the input filter to strip out the word shutdown, possibly excaping the single quote would be a good idea, but again, that is just proper handling on the DB insert side...
