Hi Guys,

I wanna get rid of all standard CSS provided by DNN. I don't want any style to come from default css files. Is there a possibility?

Thanks, Steve

sure, just delete all the CSS rules in the default.css file so it is empty.

Do you mean you want to do this for your particular skin, or for your DNN installation?

Like was stated above, removing the rules in defalt.css will solve the problem for the entire DNN installation. (Very "are you sure you want to do that?"-worthy.)

To remove the styles for the skin in question, you have to basically copy all of the default.css rules into your skin.css and leave the rules in place, but remove the code inside the styles (make blank rules).

At least this is what I've seen done, as I've not actually needed to eliminate all style myself. I hope this helps, and doesn't cause problems. Good luck!

Making blank rules in the skin.css will not override the default rules.

To override a rule in CSS you have to explicitly set each property to something else.  This is because the style sheets are cascaded together.  In other words, each sheet can build upon or change a rule property in a previously loaded sheet.

So is there a way to remove the styling for one skin without trashing your entire DNN install's CSS?
