Hi all, is it possible to use images in the solpartmenu instead of text, and if so, what's the best way?

TIA for any pointers, Pieter

Currently you can not use images in the SOLPARTMENU. this facility ws available in the DNN 2.0 because this limits the search engines to search the target page thats why this was removed.

There are some menu objects availble at Snow Convered that you can purchase to use images in the menu.

Hi!

I have used SolPart Menu with images. You only need to specify the image as the "icon" of the page and name the page something like " " to prevent the page name to cover the image. If you don´t want to have this page name you can customize the menu js file. I am doing something like that right now. I have a project where i need to change the menu image per page (every page has a diferent color skin) so as the roll back image. I am finishing this customization, if you want i can give you my js file when it is finished.

The advantage of the Housemenu is that you can just name the page normally.

The titles will not show in the menu, but the google bot will not see the images, but it will see text and index your page correctly.
