Is there a way to show a specific blog on the home page.

Like when people go to my site, I want like a featured blog of the month. Where that blog entry will stay up until i switch it with another one even if there are new blogs posted. If not does anybody know a module that can do that

AFAIK that is not an option with the DNN Blog module.

I believe you could do it with the Ventrian News Articles module and the "Featured Article" flag.  You would want to double check first...but it is a great place to start looking!

Actually you can!

Go to the "Most Recent Entries" module, in the admin menu click "Module Options"... Now look for the "Personal Blog Page" setting.

Now select the blog you wish to show. The list will limit blog entry from the one selected.

Mitchell, I sure hope that Scott Mc. is paying you good money! - You are doing a fine job at selling his module ;) -- Now I just wish you would sell mine *grin*...

Now with that solution though the user can't add any other posts to that blog, otherwise the new post will become the one displayed.

I am not in any way affiliated with Scott/Ventrian it is just that for a lot of reasons I find his module much more fitting, and easier to use for blogging......  If I find a module that I like and that fits the bill, I'll recommend it if I think it would help another user out.

Once again, I am not sure you are correct...

Why would you not be able to add any other posts to that blog??? You sure can!
When you add a new entry, there is a dropdown that allows you to chose which BLOG you wish that post to belong to.

Mitchell, please test it.
