Hi all -

I am trying to find the best way to upload hundreds of recuipes to a new DNN 4 site. There does not seem to be any commercial or other Recipe Module available, so I started with the repository but it does not seem to be the best bet. If I did use the repository, I could upload a word or txt document of the recipe, but I would prefer something ready to go, so people could click on a link and easily pull up the recipe...

Some sites made custom solutions - http://www.seapak.com/Default.aspx?tabid=53 but I guess I was hoping to find the best option .. ;/

So far this is what I have..  http://www.cupalime.com/Recipes/tabid/73/Default.aspx

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Adam

Adam, you could get very close to the same setup as seapak.com using either the Nifty template or possibly the Articles template and then tweaking them to suit your purposes.

Also, just in case you didn't mean to, you're allowing anonymous users to upload to the site.

Adam,

I just found this post because I was looking for a recipie module too. I want to develop a custom module, so I guess I'll start with this one. If you're still interested, perhaps we could work on it together. At any rate, let me know what you expected to get out of the module.

You can try module from http://components.init.si/Downloads/tabid/166/Default.aspx. It is not specialized module but you can use it for recipes etc. You can import data from ms excel, access, etc. Module can take millions of recipes, You can also build whole web application. No coding required but some SQL knowledge is recommended …

Regards,

Primoz
