I have a problem with my site.  I have not been able to find the answer anywhere.

I have create my simple skin which I am using throughout my site.  I also have my default container, which I have 'display container' set to false on every page.  However, on certain pages it seems like these settings are not working.  Another effect of this is on the top right of my page I have an area 'PageLinks' which is supposed to have links.  I have used the 'show on every page' or whatever that is called (cant remember right now).  This also doesnt show up on the same pages where my layout gets messed up.  Here are some examples:

the main page is http://www.gjupdate.com/website

if you notice none of the containers are visible.  Now, if you navigate to /?ctl=login  you can see that the Gray Text with White background container is visible.  Also, the links at the top right of the site dissappear.

Another example:

http://www.gjupdate.com/Website/Default.aspx?tabid=62

is the main site for my forums, and looks just fine.  But if I navigate to a group, I get the same problem

http://www.gjupdate.com/website/Forums/tabid/62/mid/388/groupid/1/Default.aspx

this little glitch is killing me, and any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

It was not obvious to me what is causing the problem, but perhaps one quick and easy way to mitigate the issue is to actually create a container that is equivalent to "No Container" and use that as the default. This container could contain just the following:

<div runat="server" id="ContentPane" />

Might save you some time using this approach versus troubleshooting the problem.

I had thought of that, but it isnt the only problem.

Then, when I am in admin mode I dont have any of the action buttons.  Also, if you notice all of the other pages on the site.  The module on the top 'Right Lines, Syndicate, Expert Picks, etc' is supposed to be a persistant module on all of the pages.  These pages that I have mentioned dont show that module either.  I am starting to think it is a DNN bug, but I wanted to make sure before I reported it.

It sounds like this may be a portal skin versus admin skin issue. Can you verify that your Admin Skin/Container settings are identical to your Portal Skin/Container settings on the Site Settings page?

At first I thought you had solved it.  I went and messed with all of those settings, still no luck.
