I recently upgraded from 4.4.1 to 4.5.1, and suddenly I cannot add, delete or edit banners from within vendors administration - the buttons/links have completely disappeared. In searching through the forum I found limited references to a similar situation but all in older releases, and nowhere did I find any reference to a solution. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

An update to this - turns out I can access the add, delete and edit functions from another computer, logged in the same way (administrator and host), so it must be a local setting. I can see add/delete/edit functions elsewhere, just not for banner advertising. Has anyone encountered anything like this, could it be a browser setting that's knocking out ONLY that function, etc.?

This should be a final update... I considered trying to delete these posts altogether, as it turns out it was a problem entirely of my own making. But in case anyone else runs across this, I found my own solution as well, and am pleased to share it if it's of benefit to others.

Norton AntiSpam's Ad Blocking feature, when enabled, blocks images or links with the word "banner" in them, no matter how subtle or discreet. In fact, it has the ability to cause those links I was missing to disappear entirely, so they don't show up even when you're looking at the affected page's source code. Turning off Ad Blocking made them all re-appear, as if by magic. Only took a day's worth of aggravation to realize it...

Hope this spares someone a bit of time and frustration. Cheers.
