Because in windows xp when i use text/html module, I use InsertImage function of richtext editor, link to a image in site , it auto create  link <img src="/dotnetnetuke_2/portal ... ">.
when i upload to host, domain name it 's incorrectly  becase with the domain name  now has name http://www.DomainName.com/ it doesn't include alias as run on local  http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2 . Then some image or link die.

Now i installed new version of dotnetnuke in root directory (windows 2003). i config the new site with port is : 80 (default: http://localhost/ ). it installed Okie. and when i use text/html module. it okie with <p><img width="59" height="75" src="/Portals/0/book_wrox2.jpg" alt="" /></p>. i. like this. But when i create  new site in iis, and config port to 8888 (http://lhttp://localhost/ /), after install i check in table  PortalAlias. It  don't contain PoralAlias localhost:8888 in record. it only has localhost. i change it to localhost:8888. but it run incorrectly and alway display message such as The page isn't redirecting properly

i don't known why becase i config poral alias to localhost:8888

You will need to set the "UsePortNumber" application setting to true, to have DNN preserve the port number.
