Hello

I'm developing modules in dnn 4.3.5 and had a quesiton about how to install resource folders to the DNN root directory. I can get the resource folder to install into the module directory by using the <resourcefile>filename.zip</resourcefile> tag but how do I tell dnn to unzip that file into the dnn root directory instead.

Thanks

Joe

I'd like to know how to create a directory in either the root directory or the module directory at module install time.  Is there something I can declare in the dnn config file?

The couldn't find a way to install a folder into the root directory of ivisions but you can do it to the module directory.  In the dnn file you can declare a resource file. You declare it right below the version section off the dnn file.

<

resourcefile>Resources.zip</resourcefile>

Make sure its also declared in the files section too.

<

<

</

file>name>Resources.zip</name>file>

When you go to install your module dnn will find your resources.zip file and extract it to your module root directory. Zip it up using the folder structure or it will extract all the files into the moroot which may not be what you want.

Hope this helps.

I am trying to install my resource .zip to a folder under Desktop modules other than the root - is this possible? It is an image pack and I want to unzip it under images. Should I create the structure before I zip it and zip the top level folder or can you specify a path in the .dnn files like other files (I could not get this working).
