Hi There,

Please can someone help!

I am trying to install a clean copy of DNN 3.2.02. I am actually doing a re-install as there was a version on there before.

After deleting all files on the webspace and all tables and stored procedures in the database and doing a re-install i get the following error:

At the bottom it has failed to create the base portal complaining that "Error: Provider role already exists: Administrators"

Has anyone got any ideas what is going wrong please?

Unfortunately, im on a shared platform.

I could possibly ask them to completely remove my database and site and rebuild it.

Would prefer to find a fix if possible. It sounds like the software installed OK, just failed running a script that installs the default site.

I'm going to try deleting it all again and reinstalling one more time. Wish me luck!

I'm getting the exact same error on a totally CLEAN install of 4.0.2 (on a machine that I wiped the hard-drive and installed XP Pro, ASP 2.0, IIS just today, never had DotNetNuke on it before).

Ideas?
