i have come to the end of troubleshooting and just want to know how to sched a restart of the DNN as a quick fix untill "The Dev team at SmartThinker or I come up with a fix?

One quick and easy way, if you have access to the server console, is to schedule IISReset.exe to run.  Notice that this will restart IIS itself with all applications included.

on windows 2003 its even easier, you can just set recycle parameters in the app pool that is used for your dnn installation. You can recycle after x minutes for instance.

I think i have the worst possible scenerio, i have shared hosting thru www.shawnsspace.com with no/ to limited access to the server.  I guess what i was hoping is to have the DNN sched a restart of itself.

I will call the onsite admin to discuss Recycle options, and pooling of the individual app.  If anyone comes up with a way to recycle/ or auto restart at the App. level please let us know.

You could possibly create a new scheduler item that forces the recycle in the same manner as "Restart application" does in the host settings menu.  However, there would be development involved in that.
