Hi,

Many apologies if this is in the wrong place, I'm new at DNN. I'm about to build a fairly large web site to support a community group. After a while of dilly dallying around I've decided that dotnetnuke is probably the way forward. One thing I am really trying to iron out though is setting content of forums to be visible by three different user groups.

I want to have an executive level (only users in the executive group can view messages)

A member level (Executive and members can view content)

Public level (Anyone can view)

So far I only seem to find out about having registered or unregistered user content. Is this just becasue I'm trying to do something other than the norm and it is easy to implement 3 levels of membership?

Whilst this functionality is definately needed on the forums it may extend to content on the rest of the site, is this possible?

Once agian I apologise if this is in the wrong place, like I say I'm new to DNN, need help and am also under the understanding that once I'm up to speed should devote some time each week to put the help back in via these forums.

Cheers

Si

You could create individuals forums for each.

You could create a role restricted forum and give only the desired users access to that forum.
