Hi Sebastian,

I think this is clear for every participant on an open source framework that each component can be changed - that's nothing more than technical progress. But I think there should be a place on the documentation to caution any developer what happens when he changes core elements (e.g. login, ..). To change technical content is not the real problem but in the future to maintain production solutions.

Yes here here!

That is exactly my point.  Its my own fault for changing the controls but it would of helped had i known about future upgrades.  Getting back to my point that would it be possible to change the fuctionality of these controls without changing the interface.  The presentation needs to be separated from the underlying fuctionality.

I have been told that this is part of the road map for DNN, so i hope that it is implemented soon!

Oh and thanks to the dnn team, it a great peice of software
