I upgraded to 4.5.1 by:

  1. Copying the contents of the install download over my existing 4.4.3 installation
  2. editing release.config with my previous web.config for connection strings, appcode and machine keys

When browsing to the site, the upgrade indicated success.  My websites look just fine if I'm not logged in.  But, upon logging in successfully, I get this error (when I log in as superuser):

An error has occurred.

---------

Logging in as a normal user just gives a generic "an error has occurred" message.

Any ideas?

Is it on a specific page?  it appears that a web control has the same element listed twice.

I have these modules installed.  I'm not using all of them, and they are all 4.4.3 compatible versions.  I can't check version numbers or remove unneeded ones because I can't get into the site ...

This happens for every site and every page on the portal, but only if someone is logged in.  The site is jncraig.com and the sites listed on the main page there.
