Hello,

I am using Godaddy Shared Hosting and my current domain is www.--------.com/dot because DNN has to have a place to save itself and it can not be its normal domain. I want to change the domain to www.------.com or have pages fowarded to www.-------.com/dot when they type in www.-------.com in the address bar.

Thanks

if you cannot install DNN in the root of your web site, you can create a page, e.g. index.html, containing the following meta statement in the head :

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; www.atisponge.com/dot">

Also greenflash has a tutorial on how you can actually install DNN on the root of a domain with GoDaddy....

I can't remember the URL to his website right now...
