I added checkboxes to allow registered users to enter edit mode and change how it looks for them.  All I have are some check boxes and two buttons. The return button returns you to the normal module view.   When the update button is clicked I save the values of the check boxes. Unfortunately the .checked property says the value is whatever the value was when the edit page originally loaded, no matter how many times you check and uncheck the box.  If I do the same thing on a plain asp.net page it works fine.  It seems to be because it is in DNN or at least because it is part of a control. I noticed similar behaviour when I put a checklist control in a view.  It told me that the list had no controls at all even though there were 5 of them checked off.   If you can't get the current state of a control then what good is the edit mode?
