I installed DNN 4.5 on a new hosting account for a client. they were in process of transferring a domain so I used the temp url given by the hosting company. Now that the site is build, while doing a quality check on different platforms and browsers. I noticed that the site will change the domain from the alias to the temp domain I used when I did the installation.

Is there a way to stop it from changing the domain to the temp or a way change the default domain and remove the temp domain I used on the installation.

thanks in advance.

Doesn't seem like anyone else has done this. So I:

1. Made a backup of my DB.
2. Deleted the alias record from the portal alias table.

Have not seen any problems yet. and by the way I highly recommend: Friendly URLs by ventrian. One of the best free DNN addons I have discovered.
