I responded this morning but I guess my post got zapped!

The (edit) was to signify that you click the pencil on the left of the module you want to create the PA for.  This will take you into the Module edit mode, when you're there you should have a new menu choice on the module editing container - "Create Private Assembly"

Hope this helps..

Thanks for your response.... but I can'find the command you are talking about..

I'm using DNN 4.0.0, and in the module edit mode, I can't find any choice about a Private Assembly....

It is not a great problem, 'cause the module works if I manually put my .dll in the bin directory.... and for the moment I can do it. It could be a problem if I will have to work (in the future) on servers where I cannot have local access (or terminal server, or remote connection access).

This appears to be the problem with uploading that existed in 4.0.0 but should be fixed in 4.0.2. (If you update the web.config, with modifications in the 4.0.2 release.config)

The problem was due to a change in the default size of file that .NET will process, so the file was being closed before the unzipping was complete.

The web.config <httpRuntime> element should be something like this:

    <httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="8192" requestLengthDiskThreshold="8192"/>
