I am wondering if there is a way to have the DNN search results display thumbnails.
I have a photo gallery but when you search a photo with the DNN search function all it displays is a text link. I would like it to display a thumbnail along with  the text link.

Anyone know how or know of a module that does this?

You can use the core Repository module.  It can be used to house your library of images, organize them into categories, displays a thumbnail image, and comes with it's own search.

DNN search will find any word on the portal and you cannot guarantee that the search result will always be an image type.  On top of that you have manu 3rd party modules that may return search results of their design.  That's why modifying the core is a difficult proposition.
