Hi All

I am currently designing a series of modules for a client, and have come upon a bit of a stumbling block. Advice on this would be really appreciated.

The site is to be a subscription based system, with a number of modules for managing projects. The site is to be subscritpion based, with the ability to group users together by the company they work for. The company pays for the subscription and they can have n number of users.

The main bit is the ability to link users together by company. There could be any number of these on the system.

I take it that this would mean that i would have to extend the membership parts of dnn to accommodate this??

Thanks

Adrian

It really depends on what you are looking to do.  You MIGHT be able to get the company grouping by using a "Role" for each individual company, however, that listing might become hard to manage.

Hi Mitchel

What I was looking at was the creation of subscriptions (or equivalent).

Then  be able to add users to each subscription.

I think i would have to extend the membership provider to hold the ID of the subscription and be able to create a user passing to it the ID for the subscription.

Then have the facility to create a subscription and pay for it and any other options, such as extra users.

mmm, seems a lot of work.

Bit more investigating I think.
