I need to add JavaScript to the home page in the <head> section. Can I do this through the page editor somehow, and if so, can anyone let me know how? If not, is it possible to just insert the functions in the default.aspx, or will that mess up dotnetnuke?

I have a blog post on how to do that :

Add a Javascript link to the Head section from your skin

Can I set the order in the head section regarding your article?

Yes, just add them in the order you want them to render in.

Sorry, I see that I am adding them at the 0 position in that code, so using that code you would want to add them in the reverse order of how you want them to render.
