MAWM, HW(almost)P (balcony over playarea!), NS, SD, OSOH likes DNN; WLTM similar IRL for occasional liaisons and F2FD.  Sx based, prepared to travel.

However, there is always the Raj opposite Farringdon Station at Smithfield in London, if anyone fancies a beer and a curry one evening. (1st and 3rd Weds or Thurs are good for me!)

Hello all,

For the users in the north, I'm going to put together a quick basic site so we can discuss what we would like to do, when to meet etc. Once we agree on a date / location that is suitable I will add a meeting schedule to the group and we can take it from there ...

Cheers,

Afternoon All,

Hello from a not so Sunny Sheffield, so UK here also.

I will admit though I am not a programmer to be honest like you probably all are, as I have only had a need in the past play with general html, css and php but due to my company getting sick of govt funded organisations that claim to help entrupaneurs like myself and losing nearly 3 yrs with this route, I have been forced to look how to finally get our web development underway with myself at the helm lol!

I have been introduced to DNN by a new associate who knows it pretty much inside out and we are going to start working together on my companies portal development, (Went down the getting the project costed with a Sheffield based development company and it came back at £28k which shows you it is not a small site ) he has kindly offered to teach me the basics of how to setup all the needed things of the platform, get them all synching and connecting correctly and past that will be on hand to help me should I get stuck with any elements of the development but as he said, as I have some knowledge it should be just fine and is at times more than some people have when they first start using DNN.

I just don't want you all to think I am a whizz as I don't like impersonating lol but I learn fast and work 27hrs a day at the pc in the home office, so that's good huh!

Anyways I'm here, introduced to you all and look forward to chatting with you people.

Have a great evening.
