Hello guys!

Could anybody tell me where I might define the width of the forum's editor (for example when writing a post)?

It was fine in the version 3.1, but with 3.2 the editor is very very small in my case (I am not using the default editor).

Thank you for any help!

Regards,
Fabian

This module now is setup to have the editor take up 100% of the width it can.  If you editor is small, it probably has something to do with your provider.  BTW, I have tested this with several providers and not seen this.

Hi Crispy,

thank you for your reply.

Here is the editor I use : http://dnn.tiendaboliviana.com/web/Modulesandresources/EditorProviders/FCKEditorProvider/tabid/76/Default.aspx

Could you tell me how I may define the width as it was in the previous version - there everything worked fine.

Regards,
Fabian

Hi Crispy,

it's ok. I changed in Forum_PostEdit.ascx :

<dnn:texteditor id="teContent" runat="server" width="100%" height="250px"></dnn:texteditor>

to

<dnn:texteditor id="teContent" runat="server" width="700" height="250px"></dnn:texteditor>

And everything works fine again.

Regards,
Fabian

New version of the FCKEditor provider let you specify a custom width and height for a specific instance. That way, you will don't have make modifications to your source code.
