I'm attempting to get the site working from outside, but can't seem to get it going.  If I access it from the server, I get in redirected to localhost/dotnetnuke, (it's a virtual directory under the default one in IIS).  I'd like to get it so that if I typed http://www.mysite.com/dotnetduke, it would get me to it, but I just get that the page cannot be found.  What am I missing?

you need to add a portal alias, so that DotNetNuke knows that the site address maps to that portal. Log in as the host user, and go to host->portals. Select your portal, and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and press 'add new http alias'

I did that, and it's still going to localhost.  I added www.mydomain.com, and I also tried www.mydomain.com/dotnetnuke with both the same result.

have you also added the new domain as a host header in IIS?

Well, I almost have it now, I can access it by going to http://mydomain.com/dotnetnuke, but not by http://WWW.mydomain.com/dotnetnuke
