OK, please help before I go bald as I'm pulling all my hair out :-)

So, I know that there is a slight paradigm shift moving from VS2003 to VS2005.

Getting DNN 4.5.1 up and running was fine. Also the source version opens and compiles, no problems!

I have followed the instructions in this link (and brought my dnn module(s) project over to VS2005):
http://dnnla.nesinteractivos.com/DNNLibrary/tabid/88/TID/13/cid/12/Default.aspx
Followed all the converting steps to the letter...

I have also brought the DataProvider and SQLDataProvider projects over to VS2005.
All projects were added to the DotNetNuke.sln

Now here is where I think I go wrong...(unless you guys think it was way back).

I've added the references between/to the various projects as they were in VS2003.

I now look through the code and there are items that show referential errors when I can SEE that all necessary projects are referenced and the right .dlls too.

Can someone tell me how VS2005 handles references and what I should be doing to simply reference my Provider projects from my Module(s) project and the Provider project from the SQLDataProvider project a la VS2003 (IF THAT CAN BE DONE).

BTW, FYI, for tose interested, I have XP Pro running in Parallels on a MacBook Pro with SQLServer2005, IIS and VSS all runing very well, including DNN 4.5.1. This machine is also blazing fast!

Just to add a little more info to the above message...

What needs to be done with the AssemblyInfo file from VS2003 projects?

I get this error on every line:

Error 3 Attribute 'AssemblyCompanyAttribute' cannot be applied multiple times. C:\DNN451_Source\Website\DesktopModules\[company folders]\SQLDataProvider\SQLDataProvider\My Project\AssemblyInfo.vb 13 2 [company path].SQLDataProvider

Any help on this?

Do you have SP1 installed for Visual Studio?
