I would like to see the ability to nest categories (unlimited). I would like to do what 411asp.net site does. If for some reason we can do that with our current version, could someone tell me how?

Hello All

I dug this out of Gemini (sub categories) - and I noticed it is a "Trivial". I think this would greatly enhance the useabilty of the Respository - I know it's hard to say, but do you think there is a chance this might go into the next release?

The reason I ask is that I have to make a design choice now and either hack it with attributes or add a second Repository module with more categories and a link from the top page to give the impression of subcategories. How are issues prioritized?

Rodney, I can't answer when it'll go into a release so I'll leave that to Steve but I thought I should explain the "Trivial". I mark all enhancements as Trivial. The simple reason is to make things fair for everyone. As an examle, while I agree that sub categories would greatly enhance the Repository for me personally I don't need them. Meanwhile an email notification when a comment is made is important to the admins of the sites I host while it might not be at all important to you. Everyones request is important to them but may not be important to anyone else. When it comes to adding enhancements to Gemini I really wish there were a voting system or a feedback system like Scott McCulloch uses on his site.

Yes, I know what you mean - a voting system would help!

Ok - I'll go with the attribute solution for now and change it to sub-categories when this feature is released.
