I think that will work well Steve. We will create a basic template for a job posting flyer that my HR person will fill out and post as a pdf. She can put a brief description with the posting as well!

it's up to you. If you want them to upload a document, include a [FILE] tag in your template. You can make it mandatory or optional via a setting in the form.xml file for your template. If you don't want them to upload a document at all, then don't include a [FILE] tag

The articles template might be a good starting point. It allows users to upload formatted text, both a summary and a more detailed description. The summary text is displayed for each item, then when clicking on a button, the detailed description text is displayed.

I really like the repository module, but the thing that is missing that would make it absolutely perfect is to be able to search in the attached docs' content. Oh, and also to be able to attach more than one doc to an entry.
