I have no problems creating most of the Dnn controls dynamically (LabelControl, etc.), but I am having an issue creating a SectionHeaderControl dynamically.

Anyone had any luck with this task?

Thanks in advance...

Anyone?

I can't be the only one developing server controls as modules for DNN.

What error are you getting? Also, I'm just curious, what are you hoping to gain from creating modules as server controls? Code reuse?

Michael,

The error has been posted already, it was a zero index error if I remember correctly. Charles Nurse' article explains the basics, but it only works on the View control of your module. There are many other issues as well (resource files, etc).

I write server controls for a living, it's an easier model for me. I like the concept of having everything wrapped up in an assembly with no possiblity of someone messing with the ascx files.

Try out Charle's article and tell me if you can get anything other than the view working using that technique.
