I keep seeing this thing about having DNN Sync the AD roles with DNN Roles when user logs in, I have upgraded to 4.5.1 and still don't see these fixes.  Can some one point me to a place to get this.... I have several hundred users on one and thousands on another that I am getting sick of trouble shooting.  This fix would save me really truely about 5 hours a week maybe a little more on some weeks. I have tried links in this tread but all I get is page load errors like the links are gone now... Which makes sense as they are over a year old...

Thanks much

How are your users logging onto the DNN sites? Automatically or are they entering their username and password? I do have the DNN AD Fix for 4.5.1 at http://dnn.gmss.org that does have the code to force a synch everytime a user logs in but when one of the 4.4.x versions was released it "sort of" stopped doing the automatic synch for users that were automatically logged in. Something changed in the way DNN handles logins and the code was never reached. I got sidetracked into work related projects and haven't had a chance yet to see if it was related to caching, cookies, or something else. For users that have to manually log in I was able to work around it.

OMG,  thank you so much....  The only thing I had to change to make it work for me was to edit the On_Click event to hard code the domain name to txtUsername.Text  if the user was not admin or host,  then it was perfect.

I had already edited all the SQL scripts on the system to replace the domain name with blank so now when user profiles are created in DNN I just get the user name part and the users have no clue what is going on.   Now if they could just make this part of the Core so we don't have to find the fix every time there is an upgrade.

My users login on the form, we did not have very many users with computers in the domain to turn on automatic login....

Thanks again
