I am a newbie of note, and have spent the last 2 days scouring the net for information on "How To..."

I have installed DNN v 4.5 (Yay!), and I can see it's been installed.  I have also installed some skins and containers (sounds like I know what I am doing?! ha!) Anyway the skins and containers installed in the one subdomain's directories, which is not where I wanted it to be, but iDNN seems to be using the skins anyway.

What do I do next?  I cannot afford the books, besides being in Sotuh Africa is a bit hard to get them in a matter of minutes or even days, if it arrives at all.  I cannot find documentation on-line - like step 1, and step 2.  It is all in www.mydomain.com/dotnetnuke.  How do I modify it to suit me, and then how do I get the website into www.mydomain.com ?  Or where can I find simple instructions?  Please can someone help me, or point me to documentation?

Thanks and with appreciation for all you guys and gals that make things happen!
