I need to make a module that gives non administrators (content admins) a button that would trigger the website to syncronize folders and recursive files from root.  (I have non administrators uploading to an FTP site for photo gallery submissions)

I haven't worked in the file manager area of code before and figure before I dove in I'd drop a quick note to see if anyone can give me some "i learned it the hard way" advice or code samples that would do just what i'm looking for.  I'll check back in a day or two before I start the module.

Thanks for any assistance.

if users only upload files w/o creating folders themselves, enable auto-sync option in host settings may be sufficient.

Otherwise you will need to call synchronizeFolder in /library/components/files/filesystemutils.vb

Look into the following area(s):

DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.Synchronize(...) and DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.SynchronizeFolder(...)

I imagine that should get what you need (haven't tested it... but was actually looking into this myself.
