Hi,

I have just seen on the Road Map that in the 4.5 version there is a "Categorization System", but the despcription page is empty. Where is it and how can I use it? Can I catogorize any content in any module so that is belongs to a certain Category? How can I manage the Categories ? Are they available at admin or host level ?

Thanks,

Catalin

I am not aware, that this has been inplemented and assume, it was listed for DNN 4.5.0 by fault. I will check this with the webmaster.

it was attached to that version number when the initial roadmap was drawn up. At present a few core team members are taking a broader view of adding categorisation/taxonomy features to dotnetnuke, particularly with web 2.0 social features in mind (i.e. integrating into blog tag clouds etc.), so it will take a while longer to finalise and be developed. I'll mention it to them and see if they can move it out to a later version - it's a large task so it's likely to be the sort of item included in 5.0.

Really the command of developers does not know, what clause, news and other content can (should) have different categories? Surprisingly! Or this development is necessary only for management of a homepage? How to be with the term - enterprise?
