I was testing on the new version of DNN4.5.3 which I downloaded this morning and have a small problem.

when in host mode, when check for upgrades is enabled, the following code -

<span id="dnn_IconBar.ascx_lblUpgrade" class="SubHead">Upgrade Available?</span>&nbsp;<a id="dnn_IconBar.ascx_hypUpgrade" title="Click Here To Get The Latest Version" href="http://update.dotnetnuke.com/redirect.aspx" target="_new"><img title="Click Here To Get The Latest Version" src="http://update.dotnetnuke.com/update.aspx?version=040503" style="border-width:0px;" /></a>

is displayed at the top of the page.  Which is used by host to see if upgrade is availabe.

The problem is that the link to the graphic is in http mode.  When the rest of the page is in secure mode, this graphic link causes the "Mixed Secure and Unsecure Content" warning from IE to appear, when the rest of the page is fine.  Also, as this is a code generated link, there is no way for users (logged in as host) from getting this message on secure pages if the page is being displayed in secure mode.

To keep this from happeaning in the future, could you change it so that the image links are in https mode or make the graphics local so that this error does not occur.  It causes some confusion.

For me, this only occurs when I'm logged in as host.   That is when this icon is displayed.  Is this the problem you are discussing, or does it show up under other conditions?

Correct Tom, it's only when I'm logged in as host. VERY irritating tho to have to click twice for every %$^$#@^&^$# postback, excuse my language!
