I'm not familiar with javascript. I'm doing this project for a project course. My code is: (It is in a .ascx.vb file)

Label1.text has the right value, but the alert would not pop up? Am I missing something fundamental? Just the alert, however, works. Is there something wrong with my syntax for getVar? I did something similar elsewhere and it worked though.

Sorry about that, I was trying to get a registered client var, and have it appear in an t use the dnn.getVar to do so. If you know how, can you tell me? Also, if I registered a javascript, how to I call functions from the JS within my VB CodeBehind, but it is not dependent on a click or anything like that? Thank you for your time.
