Hi all,

I'm creating a website for a golf club, where all members will have logins. I want to use the user objects for this obviously, but I need to add a couple of fields to it eg. Handicap.

What would be the best way to do this? I can't seem to find the code pages that display "Add User" fields, anyone be able to help me out on this? I'm sure it would just be a case of adding the fields to the table & business objects then databinding to a partiuclar field.

Would it be better if I kept my custom fields in a different table and amended them in a seperate module altogether?

Any other suggestions?

Any pointers on this would be great, I'm just getting used to the DNN world.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can do this all through the UI using Manage Profile Properties (Under User Account). You can also use the Smart-Thinker UserProfile module to make custom templates for displaying the info, like this.
