I've added a Text/HTML column to a table on my webpage, but when I put a link in it using the rich text editor (or even by writing out the code in the basic text box), all the code shows up, written out, on the page. I'm running DNN 4.5, and my host is EasyCGI. Do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

My guess is that there is some malformed HTML somewhere within the module, the skin, or both. you can try using firebug to track down the problem, or running it through a html validator.  but you may also try posting the source (relavant portion only) of the web page here and I or someone else may be able to help you determine what the underlying problem is.

Take care,

Ian

what are your UDT security settings in Module Settings? If you use enhanced security, all HTML is written out as HTML.

Note: we tried to hadle HTML smarter in the upcoming UDT version.

Weird - I'm trying to duplicate the error now, and I'm not experiencing the same problem. In case this does happen again, though, what security settings do you mean? Are you referring to the module permissions?

UDT 3.3.6 has a few security related module specific settings at the bottom of the settings page.
