Has anyone done any integration with LinkShare? I would like to touch base with you if you have.

Do you have a specific question?  You just implement it like any other script based banner (through vendors->banners).  Here is a sample.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks for the post Mike, but what we are really looking to do is a complete directory of available vendors using linkshare. It will be important for not only our unique "linkshare ID" be incorporated into the url whehn clicked but also the clickers user ID so they can get the proper credit.

I don't believe the banners will work for this, but the repository using the right links might?

Hmm, not sure if I exactly understand what you are looking for.  You know you can not just link to _any_ linkshare vendor. You need to apply with your domain, and be approved by the various vendors like overstock and smartbargains.  As far as tracking user id's, that would be difficult.  You would have to make your own aspx page like linkclick.aspx to trap which users do the click.  Or you would have to do some AJAX magic.   But the problem is that I'm almost positive that LinkShare requires you to paste the links as-is without modification.   Sorry if I am completely off on what you are trying to accomplish.

Thanks,

Mike
