I am using the DatDiff function in VB.Net to try to format a given entry date, similar to the way this forum formats it... That is to say, I want to qualify the date with "Today @" or "Yesterday @"...  IN other cases, I'll simply display the actual date.

Problem is, the VB DateDiff function appears to return the number of whole unit (day) values, rather than the number of boundaries crosses (as the T-SQL function does).

Any suggestions or examples for implementing this would be appreciated :)

Thank you,

-Clay

Got it working.... I used this code:

Dim intDayCount As Integer
intDayCount = DateDiff(DateInterval.Day,
                       CDate(DatePart(DateInterval.Month,
                                      DataBinder.Eval(e.Item.DataItem,
                                                      objPropertyInfo.Name)).ToString & "/" & _
                             DatePart(DateInterval.Day,
                                      DataBinder.Eval(e.Item.DataItem,
                                                      objPropertyInfo.Name)).ToString & "/" & _
                             DatePart(DateInterval.Year,
                                      DataBinder.Eval(e.Item.DataItem,
                                                      objPropertyInfo.Name)).ToString), _
                       Today)

If you have a better way, I'd be interested in seeing it :)

Thanks for reading this!
