I have tried some of the methods outlined for installing google analytics, be it through a insertion into the default.aspx or using the html tool and am having no luck.

I am using go daddy as my host

Website is www.ejourneychurch.org
I have a default.asp file in the root that does a 301 redirect to www.ejourneychurch.org/journey/default.aspx as that is where the web content is actually stored.

This could be what is messing me up.

I'm just finally starting to experiment with a site using GA myself.  In this case, all it took was applying the GA code to the bottom of the skin file I use on this site.  Although this may not be entirely optimal, it seems to be working fine and GA is reporting results.  I know there are many folks out there using GA with their DNN websites.  I am sure the redirect is having some adverse effects.

The redirect shouldn't have having any problems, the only potential issue might be with tracking referrals.

If you add the script to your dnn site using one of the listed methods you should be able to get it working.  I am using it on all of my DNN sites without issue.

Remember it can take up to 3 hours for google analytics to first notice the submissions and report it as showing data!
