Hi,
How could I have a static link to allow user to add new topic?
CUrrently I am using [[New Topic]] tag in my wikis main page. However, when user click on it, it created new topic with title "New Topic". I have no way to edit the title.

Please advice.

Thank you

Hey there... this issue has been addressed before, and believe Chris is aware of it, and probably has it on his to-do list.  This is a very sought-after feature, since adding new topics is very clunky by having to do the [[topic]] inserts in the body text to start a new topic.  I agree it would be fabulous to have an 'add topic' link in the left menu pane that allows for the addition of topics that way.

Take care,
Mike

Mike, for adding a new topic from the left, how do you envision someone accessing the topic, if it's not linked to from another topic?

Just trying to clearify what exactly you guys are looking to get done :D, so I can get it done of course!

My vision of what he is asking for, is something like is show here(may need to register to see the module):

What would be EXTRA cool, in addition to this is for the there to be a "checkbox" of some sort that says Add To Home Page and then the [[Topic.Name]] would be entered at the bottom of the home page.

Or better that "add to home page" and drop down where you could select any other Topic record in the Wiki and insert [[Topic.Name]], then a choice to be able to add the link to the top or bottom of the selected Topic page.
