I have created roles with trial periods.  I am then assigning my users to these roles in a custom module.  The framework adds an expiration date to the UserRole based on when the trial is over.  Since I am handling this myself, how can I change the UserRole to NOT have an expiration date?

Is there something in the framework I can use, or will I need to update the UserRoles table manualy?

Thanks,

-Scott

why not just remove the trial period?

I need the tiral period to show users what the tiral period is.  Also, I use it internaly to know when to bill the credit card.  I let users subscribe, for free, then after the trial period has ended, their credit card is automatically billed.

I found a solution.  I am now using AddUserRoll instead of the UpdateUser.  I am sure this is the way the Dev team intended it anyway.  Works much better.  I just force the new user expiration date to 50 years in the future after they register AND after I create the recurring billing object.  Works like a charm.
